The data confirm uranium presence across all three sites, with anomalous values reaching 682 ppm U3O8 \u2014 a concrete start for a company operating in a country that, until just months ago, had uranium mining banned by law.<\/p>\n<p>The reconnaissance mapping and rock chip sampling programme returned results that go well beyond uranium alone. At <strong>M\u00e4rrviken<\/strong>, uranium-bearing samples averaged 398 ppm U3O8, while sulphide mineralisation returned average zinc values of 0.97%, with individual peak grades of 37.7% Zn, 2.87 g\/t gold and 681.6 ppm U3O8. At <strong>Flistj\u00e4rn<\/strong>, eight rock chip samples averaged 90.9 ppm U3O8, with a high of 442.2 ppm. A further sample returned 603.8 ppm U3O8 alongside 64 ppm silver and 1,500 ppm zinc. The polymetallic potential at M\u00e4rrviken adds meaningful value to the company&#8217;s broader portfolio.<\/p>\n<p>Sweden&#8217;s regulatory landscape has shifted rapidly. On January 1, 2026, the Swedish Parliament \u2014 the <strong>Riksdag<\/strong> \u2014 lifted the ban on uranium mining that had been in place since 2018, reclassifying uranium as a concession mineral under the Swedish Minerals Act. A further step followed in June 2026, when the municipal veto over uranium mining and processing activities was removed, placing uranium projects on equal footing with other mining operations. In just six months, two landmark decisions rewrote the rules of the sector.<\/p>\n<p>Sweden also published, on 23 July 2026, a new national raw materials strategy targeting competitive mining status, with faster permitting, expanded exploration and greater production of critical minerals. The Geological Survey of Sweden (<strong>SGU<\/strong>) has designated the Gold Line Belt \u2014 which hosts NordX&#8217;s Duobblon Uranium project \u2014 as an area of national importance. The strategy explicitly cites the reopening to uranium as one of the measures already implemented, and sets a goal of achieving permits or extraction of strategic materials such as lithium by 2030.<\/p>\n<p>NordX&#8217;s next steps are already mapped out. Mapping and sampling at Norr D\u00f6ttern will continue through the third quarter of 2026, with the aim of defining drill targets ahead of a drilling campaign planned for winter 2026\u20132027. The project is located in Norrbotten County and covers an 8 km structural corridor previously explored by Swedish state entities between 1971 and 1985, with 35 historical diamond drill holes already completed. The new analytical data align with that historical record and open up target areas for systematic follow-up.
