The bulk of that capital \u2014 $2.58 million \u2014 went to the company&#8217;s flagship <strong>Murphy Lake<\/strong> project, with an additional $765,000 directed to the Zoo Bay project. Field results are justifying the bet.<\/p>\n<p>The Murphy Lake drilling program originally targeted 2,500 metres. It was expanded to 4,092 metres across nine holes after early results came in encouraging. Five of the six target areas tested returned anomalous radioactivity. The most significant finding: hole ML26-015 visually identified pitchblende, the primary uranium ore mineral. The <em>Murphy Lake South Trend<\/em> has extended to nearly 1.3 kilometres, complemented by the <em>Murphy Lake North Trend<\/em>, which shows anomalous radioactivity over more than 330 metres of strike length. Laboratory geochemical results are still pending and will determine the true extent of mineralization.<\/p>\n<p>The project is operated by <strong>F4 Uranium Corp.<\/strong> (TSXV:FFU), with UraniumX funding work under an option agreement that allows it to earn up to a 70% interest in the property. Murphy Lake covers 609 hectares in the northeastern Athabasca Basin, located just five kilometres from IsoEnergy&#8217;s Hurricane deposit \u2014 one of the highest-grade uranium deposits in the world. The site&#8217;s geology \u2014 graphitic schist zones in the basement, and intense hematite and limonite alteration in the overlying sandstone \u2014 is characteristic of the unconformity-hosted uranium deposit model that defines the region&#8217;s major discoveries.<\/p>\n<p>On the financial side, UraniumX has structured option agreements on the <strong>Zoo Bay<\/strong> and <strong>NeoCore<\/strong> projects that could bring in up to $7.25 million in partner-funded exploration, along with $900,000 in cash payments and 27.58 million shares from two publicly listed companies. UraniumX retains a 2% NSR royalty and operational control of NeoCore. Separately, the company has agreed to acquire the <strong>Dieter Lake<\/strong> uranium project in Quebec from IsoEnergy Ltd. through its subsidiary Consolidated Uranium, in exchange for 18 million UraniumX shares and a 2% NSR royalty, subject to regulatory approval.<\/p>\n<p>With Murphy Lake geochemical results still incoming and two mineralized trends already outlined, the next phase of exploration will move forward on much firmer ground. If assay results confirm expected grades, UraniumX would have a well-defined uranium system just kilometres from the Athabasca Basin&#8217;s richest deposits \u2014 backed by a funding model designed to expand exploration coverage without excessive dilution to existing shareholders.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UraniumX Discovery Corp. has deployed $3.83 million across its Athabasca Basin properties, with the Murphy Lake drilling program intersecting anomalous radioactivity in five of six target areas tested.
