CEO Marnie Finlayson described nuclear energy as &#8220;a green baseload solution&#8221; to address the structural rise in global electricity demand.<\/p>\n<p>A strategic reset completed in February 2025 reshaped the company&#8217;s profile, shedding non-core assets to channel resources into a uranium portfolio spanning more than <strong>14,000 square kilometres<\/strong> in the heart of the Alligator Rivers Uranium Province. Three drill targets are either active or about to commence in the Northern Territory, with additional targets already in the pipeline. Cash on hand at the end of the last quarter stood at <strong>A$27 million<\/strong>, with further value potentially recoverable from the divestment of secondary assets.<\/p>\n<p>The flagship project is <strong>Nabarlek<\/strong>, home to the former highest-grade uranium mine ever operated in Australia, with a historical production record of 24 million pounds at an average grade of 1.84%. Alongside Nabarlek, the <strong>Murphy West Uranium Project<\/strong> is also advancing \u2014 a province-scale asset in the southern portion of the largely underexplored McArthur Basin. DevEx holds the Murphy West project through a joint venture with Barkly Rare Earths, with the right to earn up to 75% of the uranium rights by spending A$3.5 million over five years.<\/p>\n<p>Management openly draws comparisons between the geology of the Northern Territory and Canada&#8217;s Athabasca Basin, one of the world&#8217;s most prolific uranium-producing regions. The India-Australia supply agreement, cited by Finlayson during her presentation, is viewed as a tangible signal of federal-level political support. DevEx also completed the acquisition of AGE&#8217;s uranium tenement in the Northern Territory at the end of June 2026, further broadening its exploration footprint.<\/p>\n<p>The company&#8217;s core thesis is that uranium supply is failing to keep pace with emerging demand, and that the anticipated deficit towards the late 2030s creates a structural opportunity for those building an asset pipeline today. Finlayson stated that the coming months should bring a steady flow of updates on drilling results, land access, and target definition progress, with potential <strong>mergers and acquisitions<\/strong> also on the horizon. The stated long-term goal is to exceed 10 million pounds of uranium produced per year across multiple assets. Ambitious, certainly \u2014 but underpinned by a region that already hosts more than 700 million pounds of identified uranium across both mined and undeveloped deposits.
