That is precisely the kind of expertise Manhattan was looking for: someone who knows how Washington works from the inside.<\/p>\n<p>Manhattan&#8217;s CEO, <strong>Galen McNamara<\/strong>, was straightforward: Bartow &#8220;has spent his career at the intersection of policy, capital, and industrial capacity,&#8221; and his command of the federal machinery is a tangible asset for the company&#8217;s shareholders. The point is a concrete one. The United States is working to rebuild a domestic nuclear fuel supply chain that, as Bartow himself has noted, was ceded piece by piece over three decades. That reconstruction is now happening under time pressure, with domestic uranium demand on the rise and nuclear reactors returning to the center of American energy policy.<\/p>\n<p>Manhattan operates a portfolio of historically productive uranium mines across <strong>Utah, Colorado, and Nevada<\/strong>. The San Rafael district in Utah ranks second in the state for undeveloped uranium resources, with a historical production record of 4.5 million pounds of U\u2083O\u2088. The I-70 project holds an active underground mining permit and an expanded claim area of 255%, covering 4,416 acres. These are real assets \u2014 backed by historical exploration data and existing infrastructure. Not paper projects.<\/p>\n<p>Last May, the company completed the acquisitions of <strong>Urano Energy<\/strong> and <strong>Pegasus Resources<\/strong>, two transactions that broadened the portfolio and strengthened its capital markets position. Uranium has been officially classified as a critical mineral by the U.S. Geological Survey, a designation that unlocks access to specific federal funding mechanisms. Bartow knows those mechanisms better than almost anyone else in the sector.<\/p>\n<p>The direction is clear. The United States wants to reduce its dependence on foreign uranium \u2014 primarily Russian and Kazakhstani supply \u2014 and Manhattan is positioning itself as one of the players capable of helping close that gap.
