DISA Uranium Corporation<\/strong> is now a reality. On August 19, 2026, IsoEnergy<\/strong> and DISA Technologies<\/strong> announced the closing of the transaction that brings to life a new American company dedicated to uranium production, recovery, and remediation on U.S. soil. The pro forma implied valuation, calculated on the basis of the per-share price of the financing, stands at approximately $505 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Under the terms of the deal, IsoEnergy contributed to DISA Uranium its portfolio of conventional mines in Utah \u2014 all fully permitted and with an established production history \u2014 including the Tony M Mine, Daneros Mine, Rim Mine, Sage Plain Project, and Flatiron Project. In return, IsoEnergy received 1,677,350 shares in the new company and becomes its single largest shareholder, holding approximately 33% of the fully diluted share capital. IsoEnergy also holds two seats on the seven-member board of directors: Chairman Richard Patricio and CEO Phillip Williams.<\/p>\n

Rounding out the picture is a $105 million<\/strong> private placement with a syndicate that includes Tembo Capital, BHP Ventures, Galvanize Climate Solutions, Valor Equity Partners, Evok Innovations, Halliburton Labs, and Veriten. IsoEnergy participated in the round with $33 million. Proceeds will be directed toward conventional mine development, remediation programs, and the advancement of domestic refining infrastructure. Former Nuclear Regulatory Commission Commissioner Jeffrey Merrifield also sits on the board \u2014 a signal of the regulatory significance the company intends to carry.<\/p>\n

The technological backbone of DISA Uranium is its proprietary HPSA<\/strong> technology \u2014 High-Pressure Slurry Ablation \u2014 developed by DISA Technologies. Tests conducted at the Tony M Mine showed that this technology reduced the mass of material requiring processing to just 22% of the original volume, while recovering approximately 88% of the uranium present. The process concentrates uranium-bearing material directly at the mine site, significantly cutting transportation and processing costs. DISA Uranium holds exclusive rights to this technology for uranium, vanadium, and abandoned mine remediation applications. It is also the only company to hold a Nuclear Regulatory Commission license authorizing multi-site remediation and recovery of materials from legacy mining sites across the American West.<\/p>\n

In parallel with the launch of DISA Uranium, DISA Technologies’ non-uranium and non-vanadium operations have been spun off into a separate entity, DISA Tech Inc.<\/strong>, led by CEO Milan Sjaus. The two companies share the same patented technology but operate in distinct markets. DISA Uranium remains exclusively focused on domestic nuclear fuel, with the Tony M Mine identified as the near-term priority within its Utah portfolio.<\/p>\n

The geopolitical backdrop is far from incidental. The United States is pushing hard to reshore its nuclear fuel supply chain and reduce dependence on foreign suppliers. DISA Uranium aims to build the first new American uranium recovery and processing facility in over four decades. If the remediation programs and Utah conventional mines proceed as planned, the company could emerge as one of the few fully integrated operators across the entire domestic uranium chain \u2014 from extraction to processing \u2014 at a time when demand for secure, origin-certified nuclear fuel has never weighed more heavily on national energy agendas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
