With this transaction, UraniumX now operates across two Canadian provinces: Saskatchewan and Quebec.<\/p>\n<p>The deal involves no cash consideration. UraniumX issued 18 million common shares at a nominal price of CAD $0.10 and granted Consolidated Uranium a 2% net smelter return (NSR) royalty on all production from Dieter Lake. Consolidated Uranium now holds approximately 15.2% of UraniumX on an undiluted basis, with the right to appoint a board member and to maintain its position through participation and top-up rights. This is a strategic industrial stake \u2014 not a speculative market play.<\/p>\n<p>Dieter Lake is located in the Gayot Lake basin and comprises 168 mineral claims covering approximately 8,106 hectares in a contiguous block. Uranium mineralization occurs as fine-grained pitchblende within a stratigraphic horizon of the Sakami Formation, traced over roughly 6 km of strike across four zones \u2014 Vivian, Nancy I and II, and Bert&#8217;s \u2014 all of which remain open to the southwest. The deposit carries a historical estimate of 19.3 million tonnes at 0.057% U\u2083O\u2088, equivalent to approximately 24.4 million pounds of U\u2083O\u2088, with most of the 8,106 hectares yet to see modern drilling. A high-grade subset within the historical model reaches approximately 6.8 million tonnes at 0.108% U\u2083O\u2088.<\/p>\n<p>UraniumX&#8217;s operational plan is straightforward. &#8220;Our near-term work at Dieter Lake is simple: verify the historical database and drill to test it,&#8221; said Esen Boldkhuu, CEO of UraniumX. The other cornerstone of the company&#8217;s portfolio remains the Murphy Lake project in Saskatchewan, located in the Athabasca Basin \u2014 the world&#8217;s highest-grade uranium district. The two assets complement each other both geographically and in terms of development stage: one advanced and drill-ready, the other historical and awaiting its first modern validation.<\/p>\n<p>The broader market backdrop reinforces the deal&#8217;s rationale. Ottawa manages a $2 billion Critical Minerals Sovereign Fund and has designated 2026 as a pivotal year for the nuclear sector, as global uranium demand rises while supply continues to tighten. IsoEnergy itself completed the acquisition of Toro Energy Limited in June 2026, adding the Wiluna project in Western Australia and expanding its development portfolio across three countries. Divesting Dieter Lake in exchange for equity in a junior explorer is not a disposal \u2014 it is a way to retain exposure to an asset without bearing its direct operating costs.<\/p>\n<p>For UraniumX, the real work starts now. The historical estimates date back to 2006 and are not certified under modern standards: they must be validated through new drilling before any defined resource can be declared.
