Greenland Mines Ltd<\/strong> (Nasdaq: GRML; FSE: HK6) has completed a capital raise of over $59 million<\/strong> in seven days, with the latest tranche of more than $17 million secured through a registered direct offering of common shares at $13 per share. The price stands above current market quotations \u2014 a clear signal that existing shareholders chose to increase their exposure at a premium valuation.<\/p>\n

The financing substantially strengthens the company’s balance sheet and provides the capital required to execute its planned exploration and development programs, with the goal of meeting the milestones set for 2027<\/strong> across its entire Greenland portfolio. The transaction exhausted the remaining capacity under the company’s active shelf registration statement, effectively closing this phase of its fundraising cycle.<\/p>\n

On the governance front, Greenland Mines<\/strong> announced the appointment of two new board directors: Blair Jordan and Peter Love. Jordan is a lawyer and investment banker with CEO and advisory experience at publicly listed companies, currently serving as head of Tungsten Reserve Corp. Love brings over 18 years of experience in mineral exploration and natural resources finance, and is executive chairman and co-founder of Torino Metals. Both profiles round out a governance structure geared toward the operational phase \u2014 the most demanding stage of any mining project.<\/p>\n

The company’s strategy aims to build a multi-asset platform with exposure to magnet rare earth elements<\/strong>, precious metals, and select midstream processing opportunities. At its core is the vision of the so-called North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor: a corridor linking Greenland’s resources to allied downstream jurisdictions and their industrial infrastructure. This framework slots neatly into the global race for critical minerals, driven by demand for components needed in the energy transition and by the imperative to reduce dependence on Chinese supply chains.<\/p>\n

Greenland is one of the world’s most geologically promising territories for rare earths, palladium, gold, and platinum. Greenland Mines<\/strong>‘ portfolio includes the Skaergaard project, with indicated and inferred resources estimated at tens of millions of gold-equivalent ounces of gold, palladium, and platinum. A new drilling and development program is targeting a doubling of the resource base toward 50 million contained ounces of Au, Pd, and Pt.
