Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd.<\/strong> (TSXV: GMG, OTCQX: GMGMF) closed its fiscal year ended June 30, 2026, with revenues up more than 300% year-on-year. At the same time, the Australian company completed an unmediated private placement of approximately 10 million US dollars<\/strong>, subscribed by a single investor who purchased 6,465,336 ordinary shares at CAD 2.15 per share.<\/p>\n

The net proceeds will be directed toward three operational priorities: scaling up graphene and liquid graphene production, expanding battery cell manufacturing capacity, and commercializing liquid graphene-based products. In 2026, GMG already opened its next-generation facility, the Gen 2.0 Graphene Manufacturing Plant<\/strong>, and advanced the development of its G\u00aeCELLS<\/strong> energy storage technology \u2014 graphene aluminum-ion batteries capable of fully recharging in under six minutes. The third pillar is G FLUID™<\/strong>, a graphene-enhanced coolant designed for data centers and industrial cooling applications.<\/p>\n

This comes against a backdrop of surging demand for high-efficiency thermal management solutions, driven by the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence infrastructure. Data centers require increasingly powerful cooling systems, and advanced materials such as graphene offer thermal densities that conventional technologies struggle to match. GMG produces its own graphene by decomposing methane into its constituent elements \u2014 carbon in the form of graphene, hydrogen, and residual hydrocarbons \u2014 through a proprietary process that enables both low costs and high quality.<\/p>\n

On the commercial front, the company has built out an Asia-Pacific<\/strong> sales team, with active operations in India, South Korea, Japan, and Singapore, in addition to its home market of Australia. The G\u00aeCELLS technology is being developed under an agreement with Rio Tinto<\/strong>, with support from BIC, and targets applications in mining, industrial equipment, and stationary energy storage. The existing product portfolio already includes THERMAL-XR\u00ae, G\u00ae LUBRICANT, and a collaboration with Alstom in the rail sector.<\/p>\n

For the advanced energy sector, graphene’s relevance extends well beyond simple storage. Materials with graphene’s structural and thermal properties are attracting growing interest in the design of next-generation reactor components, where heat management is a critical variable. GMG does not operate directly in the nuclear space, but its trajectory \u2014 applied research, industrial partnerships, rapid geographic expansion \u2014 is that of a company that has moved beyond the laboratory stage and is building a real revenue base.
