The definitive agreement was signed on October 9, 2026, with <strong>Green Shift Commodities Ltd.<\/strong> and announced on October 13. The total consideration amounts to approximately CAD 1 million, structured as CAD 300,000 in cash and CAD 700,000 in Myriad common shares, plus a 2% net smelter return royalty on the entire project area.<\/p>\n<p>Under the terms of the deal, Myriad will acquire all issued shares of <strong>Buenavida Metales S.A.<\/strong>, Green Shift&#8217;s wholly owned Argentine subsidiary that holds the project&#8217;s mineral titles. Myriad shares were priced at CAD 0.4455 each, based on the ten-day volume-weighted average price prior to signing. Green Shift retains the 2% royalty, though Myriad has the option to buy back half of it for CAD 1 million. Closing is expected by November 13, 2026, subject to approval from the TSX Venture Exchange and the Canadian Securities Exchange.<\/p>\n<p>Los Altares covers <strong>55,013 hectares<\/strong> across 23 properties. The project is divided into two districts: the East District, comprising the Arroyo Perdido and Perdido blocks, and the West District, which includes the C\u00f3ndor 1 and Pichi\u00f1\u00e1n properties. Four properties within the East District \u2014 Arroyo Perdido Norte 1, 2, and 3, and Arroyo Perdido Sur 1 \u2014 already hold fully granted mining concessions and approved environmental impact assessments. Seven additional properties have received environmental approval and are in the process of title registration. The project has approximately 12,500 metres of historical drilling completed, including 37 reverse circulation holes drilled by Maple Minerals Exploration and Development Inc. at the Arroyo Perdido North concessions.<\/p>\n<p>The geographic context is significant. Los Altares sits within the <strong>Cerro Solo uranium district<\/strong>, one of Argentina&#8217;s most important, in close proximity to CNEA&#8217;s Cerro Solo deposit, UrAmerica&#8217;s Meseta Central deposit, and the historic Los Adobes mine. Argentina is actively pursuing uranium self-sufficiency to fuel its domestic nuclear reactor fleet, and bilateral cooperation with the United States on critical minerals has deepened in recent years. The transaction also brings Green Shift and its major shareholder, <strong>Mega Uranium<\/strong> (TSX: MGA), onto Myriad&#8217;s shareholder register, strengthening the acquirer&#8217;s strategic foundation.<\/p>\n<p>For Myriad, which already operates the Breccia Pipe project in Arizona, Los Altares represents a meaningful expansion into South America. The company has stated it will consolidate existing exploration data to develop a forward exploration plan.
