The first two drill holes, totaling 540 meters, intersected multiple zones of elevated radioactivity and confirmed uranium mineralization consistent with the site&#8217;s historical records.<\/p>\n<p>The first hole, designated <strong>SN0045<\/strong>, was drilled 1.5 meters from historical hole SN-08-06 at a -45\u00b0 dip, reaching a depth of 269 meters. It intersected elevated radioactivity zones over a 30-meter interval \u2014 between 94.1 and 124.9 meters \u2014 within brecciated and re-healed gneissic monzodiorite cut by thin amphibolite dykes. Radiometric equivalent results returned 0.07% eU\u2083O\u2088 over 0.6 meters, with a peak of 0.14% eU\u2083O\u2088 over 0.2 meters. The second hole, <strong>SN0046<\/strong>, was drilled from the same pad at a -65\u00b0 dip to test the mineralized horizon at depth: at 271 meters, it intersected a 25-meter zone of elevated radioactivity between 187 and 211.6 meters, returning 0.05% eU\u2083O\u2088 over 0.5 meters.<\/p>\n<p>The geological context is significant. The 17 historical holes drilled between 2007 and 2008 had already identified a 20\u201350-meter-wide section of altered and mineralized monzodiorite, interpreted as analogous to the nearby <strong>Two Time<\/strong> deposit. A 10-centimeter check sample collected in 2025 from hole SN-08-06 had returned a grade of 2.71% U\u2083O\u2088 \u2014 the highest ever recorded in the history of the Snegamook deposit \u2014 compared to a historical sample grade of 0.97% U\u2083O\u2088 over 0.5 meters. These values guided the positioning of the new holes in the southern portion of the deposit.<\/p>\n<p>Trevor Perkins, Vice President of Exploration, stated that the program &#8220;has confirmed the mineralizing system and geological setting of the Snegamook deposit,&#8221; with results comparable to those of the neighboring <strong>Two Time<\/strong> and <strong>Anna Lake<\/strong> deposits. CEO Mark Tommasi emphasized that the goal is to build a reliable geological dataset \u2014 through drilling and review of historical core \u2014 to guide the next stages of exploration. Samples from all holes have been dispatched for laboratory analysis, with final results expected in early 2027.<\/p>\n<p>The 2026 program envisions approximately 2,000 meters of drilling across six or seven holes in total, with the aim of validating historical data and laying the groundwork for a potential mineral resource estimate under <strong>NI 43-101<\/strong> standards. Snegamook currently has no certified resource estimate: a preliminary assessment was prepared in 2008 by Silver Spruce Resources but was never finalized or filed. Should laboratory results confirm what the radiometric readings suggest, Azincourt will be well-positioned to formally initiate the certification process.
