In fusion, the company reports <strong>36 advances<\/strong> in key manufacturing technologies, four core production capabilities and <strong>15 patents<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The fair, the China International Industry Fair, ran from October 12 to 16 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. The group presented 19 integrated solutions. Nuclear shared the floor with intelligent robotics, industrial artificial intelligence, computing infrastructure and heavy-duty gas turbines. For the latter, the company offers simple-cycle and combined-cycle solutions from 75 to 800 MW and has completed China&#8217;s first demonstration of hydrogen blending on a large F-class turbine in operation.<\/p>\n<p>In nuclear, the company presents itself as a supplier able to deliver the complete main equipment for the nuclear island, for both pressurized water reactors and high-temperature gas-cooled reactors. It also supplies core components for fusion systems. The interactive exhibits covered four lines: <strong>Hualong One<\/strong>, <strong>Guohe One<\/strong>, high-temperature gas-cooled reactors and fusion equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Hualong One is a Generation III pressurized water reactor jointly developed by China General Nuclear Power Group and China National Nuclear Corporation. The first unit to enter commercial operation was Fuqing 5, on January 30, 2021. Since then the design has become the benchmark of China&#8217;s nuclear program. In 2026 the State Council approved the construction of four Hualong One units and two Huanlong One 2.0 units for the Jinqimen, Taipingling and Zhuanghe sites. Taipingling 1 and 2 entered commercial operation in April and August of this year, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The context explains the decision to put nuclear on display. A program with this pace of approvals and construction starts requires suppliers capable of producing large components in series, and Shanghai Electric has worked in this segment for years. The group has taken part in every edition of CIIF, according to the municipal commission that oversees state-owned participation. The fusion figures, meanwhile, indicate that component production for these plants has already entered an industrialization phase, with patents filed and manufacturing capabilities consolidated.<\/p>\n<p>The next step will be measured in orders.
