Aventis Energy<\/strong> signed an option agreement on October 28, 2026 to acquire 100% of the Seneca project, a past-producing mineral property in southwestern British Columbia, Canada. The counterparties are Turnagain Resources and 1240089 B.C. Ltd. The site is located 120 kilometers by road east of Vancouver.<\/p>\n

Seneca is a volcanogenic massive sulfide deposit with zinc, copper, silver and gold mineralization. The three claims cover 863.16 hectares and include four historically identified zones along a 4.5-kilometer mineralized belt. Historical reports cite more than one hundred drill holes, 347 line-kilometers of airborne geophysical surveys and over 2,700 soil and rock samples. Reported intersections include 2.6 meters grading 20.28% zinc, 0.94% copper, 100 g\/t silver and 3.05 g\/t gold. The site has road access and a power line at the property boundary.<\/p>\n

To exercise the option, Aventis must pay the vendors $250,000 in cash<\/strong> and issue shares worth $400,000<\/strong>. In addition, it must incur at least $150,000 in exploration expenditures over three years. Upon exercise of the option, the vendors will receive a 2% net smelter return royalty, which can be bought back in full for one million dollars. Aventis will operate the project during the option period. The agreement is still subject to acceptance by the Canadian Securities Exchange.<\/p>\n

Aventis now has a three-project portfolio. The first is Corvo<\/strong>, a uranium project in the southeastern Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan, which the company holds under option from Standard Uranium. By committing C$6 million in exploration spending over three years, Aventis can earn a 75% interest. Standard Uranium began the winter drilling campaign on February 9, 2026, funded by Aventis. The second is the Sting copper project. Seneca is the third.<\/p>\n

CEO Michael Mulberry explained that only two of the four zones have been drilled in detail. The area between the two, an untested electromagnetic anomaly and an 800-by-800-meter block never drilled remain open. Aventis plans to consolidate the historical data and define drill targets, with fieldwork running in parallel. The data cited come from historical reports and have not been verified through on-site sampling or surveys.<\/p>\n

Aventis’s pipeline combines uranium and base metals. If the data consolidation at Seneca identifies credible targets, the company could begin drilling while continuing the program at Corvo, where uranium remains the metal that fuels nuclear power plants.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
