American Fusion Lists on OTCQB with Texatron Fusion Platform

American Fusion Inc. (OTC: AMFN) has been admitted to the OTCQB Venture Market effective August 21, 2026, marking a formal step into capital markets for the Texas-based company developing the Texatron™ Fusion Engine™. The aneutronic fusion platform targets modular applications across industry, defense, and critical infrastructure.

American Fusion Inc. (OTC: AMFN) has received approval from OTC Markets Group to trade on the OTCQB Venture Market, with trading set to begin on August 21, 2026, under its existing ticker AMFN. The approval concludes a months-long process that began with the company’s registration as an SEC-reporting entity and advanced through the OTCQB qualification application and the Form 211 review process handled by FINRA.

The move from the OTCID market to the OTCQB is more than a change in market tier. Under the previous regime, only unsolicited quotes were permitted; with OTCQB admission, broker-dealers can now post proprietary quotes on OTC Link ATS, meaningfully broadening access to the stock for institutional investors. The process was completed after Alpine Securities, acting as the sponsoring market maker, filed the Form 211 required under SEC Rule 15c2-11. The company has funded its operations entirely through equity, with no convertible debt on its books.

At the heart of investor interest is the Texatron™ Fusion Engine™, the aneutronic fusion platform developed by American Fusion for modular, infrastructure-grade applications across industrial, commercial, defense, and constrained-grid settings. The planned business model is Power-as-a-Service: delivering energy directly at the customer’s site, bypassing the public grid. Target markets include AI data centers, hospitals, military installations, and mission-critical industrial facilities. The Texatron takes a fundamentally different approach from the magnetic confinement used in conventional tokamaks: the aneutronic method, if validated, significantly reduces fast neutron output, with direct implications for materials management and engineering complexity.

The company’s CTO, Dr. John Brandenburg, presented the Texatron technology at the IEEE ICOPS 2026 conference and previously at the American Physical Society Division of Particles and Fields. A testing program has been launched at Texas Tech University, with a first phase completed and testing of the 12 models registered with the Texas DSHS underway as of the week of July 27, 2026. The intellectual property portfolio is also expanding: new patent applications have been filed, including U.S. Serial No. 19/754,260, in support of the compact fusion portfolio.

Richard Hawkins, CEO of American Fusion, has described the OTCQB listing as an intermediate milestone within a broader plan. The company is evaluating an uplisting to a national securities exchange, with the Texas Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq Capital Market among the options under consideration. In the meantime, preliminary commercial discussions are ongoing for future energy supply agreements through Power Purchase Agreements. Private fusion has attracted growing global investment: according to recent company updates, total capital raised at the sector level reached new highs in 2026. For American Fusion, the next critical step is demonstrating, in its Southlake, Texas laboratories, that the Texatron delivers what it promises on paper.
