Terra Clean Energy Corp. has completed the acquisition, compilation, and digitization of a comprehensive historical exploration database for its Marysvale Uranium Mines project, located in the uranium-bearing district of central Utah. The district has historically produced over 1.33 million pounds of U3O8 at a reported average grade of 0.22% — figures that speak clearly to the area’s underlying potential.
The project encompasses the former producing Prospector and Freedom mines, which together accounted for the largest share of the district’s total output. Historical records indicate that mineralization extends beyond the boundaries of existing workings, both along strike and at depth. Terra, listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE: TCEC) and on the U.S. OTCQB market, holds a 100% interest in the project.
The acquired database is substantial in scope. It includes thousands of feet of drill logs, underground geological maps, production records, assay certificates, geochemical data, mine plans, level maps, cross-sections, and technical reports from historical operators, including Anaconda. All materials have been digitized and integrated into a three-dimensional geological model using modern exploration software. The outcome is a significantly more detailed understanding of structural controls, mineralized zones, and potential extensions of the uranium deposit.
CEO Greg Cameron described the milestone as a major step forward for the project, noting that recreating those drill logs, geological maps, and geochemical results from scratch today would be prohibitively expensive and time-consuming. Having access to such an archive materially reduces exploration uncertainty and enables future drill programs to be planned on a far more informed basis. Historical drilling has already confirmed that mineralization extends more than 600 feet below existing mine workings, with grades approaching 1% U3O8 in the most prospective zones.
This type of operation — recovering and unlocking value from analog historical archives — is becoming increasingly common among exploration companies active in mature mining districts across the United States and Canada. The rationale is straightforward: many of these districts were abandoned during the prolonged low-uranium-price era, leaving behind valuable data that was never fully exploited. Today, with nuclear fuel demand growing steadily and U.S. energy policy increasingly focused on domestic supply security, that data is once again a strategic asset.
The next step for Terra Clean Energy will be defining new drill targets based on the newly constructed 3D model. The company also holds exploration positions in the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan and in Wyoming, where it has acquired claims covering more than 3,300 acres in the Browns Park formation. The combination of a detailed historical archive and an updated geological model lays the groundwork for an exploration campaign that could redefine the true scale of the Marysvale deposit — and open new production scenarios in one of America’s longest-standing uranium mining states.
