Terra Clean Energy Receives Mining Permits for Utah Uranium Project

Terra Clean Energy Corp. has received formal authorization from the Utah Department of Natural Resources to launch its exploration program at the Marysvale Uranium Mines Project, one of the most historically productive uranium districts in the western United States. The approval clears the way for five drill pads and seven exploratory trenches on a 100%-owned asset.

Terra Clean Energy Corp. has received formal approval from the Utah Department of Natural Resources Division of Oil, Gas and Mining to proceed with its exploration program at the Marysvale Uranium Mines Project, located in the historic Marysvale mining district of Utah. The permit covers an asset the company owns outright — 100% — and unlocks a field plan management had been working toward for months.

The approved program authorizes the construction of five drill pads to support a diamond core drilling campaign, along with the excavation of seven exploratory trenches designed to expose and evaluate known uranium-bearing outcrops. The pad locations were selected to test priority targets identified through historical exploration data, recent geological modeling, and radiometric and photogrammetric surveys already completed by the company. The trenches, in turn, will allow the technical team to map and sample mineralized structures and verify geological interpretations drawn from historical records.

Terra’s CEO Greg Cameron described the receipt of the permits as “a significant milestone that keeps the company on schedule for its exploration program.” Over the past year, the team has focused on compiling and digitizing historical data, preparing a Technical Report in compliance with NI 43-101 standards, and building a three-dimensional geological model. That technical groundwork is now ready to be translated into fieldwork.

The district’s historical track record is compelling. The Marysvale Uranium District has produced a cumulative total of over 1.33 million pounds of U₃O₈ at an average grade of 0.22%. Roughly 75% of that output — approximately one million pounds — came from the Prospector and Freedom mines, the very assets Terra acquired in early 2026 through an earn-in agreement covering six unpatented BLM mining claims totaling 39.5 hectares in Piute County. The system is an epithermal vein-type deposit, with mineralization including uraninite, coffinite, and umohoite. Preliminary investigations suggest significant mineralization remains at depth, with near-surface grade potential of up to 1% U₃O₈.

Terra Clean Energy‘s strategy centers on advanced-stage projects in stable jurisdictions with existing infrastructure: the Marysvale properties sit just over five kilometers from the village of the same name, enjoy year-round road access, and are relatively close to the White Mesa Mill, an operational uranium processing facility in Utah. With uranium demand rising alongside the nuclear energy resurgence in the United States — where new small modular reactor licenses and the restart of existing plants are driving fuel market momentum — the advancement of Marysvale comes at an opportune time. Should the diamond drilling campaign deliver the expected results, Terra will have sufficient data to define a certified resource estimate and take a concrete step toward the development phase.
