X-energy to Report Third-Quarter 2026 Results on November 12

X-energy will report its third-quarter 2026 results on Thursday, November 12. The release will come before the market opens, with an analyst conference call and webcast at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time. The company, listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker XE, made the announcement on October 30 from Rockville, Maryland.

The date falls just days after an important regulatory milestone. On October 30, the same day as the earnings announcement, the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission said it had completed its safety review of the Xe-100 reactor, with the Final Safety Evaluation Report formally closing this phase of the review. For a Generation IV SMR project, it is a step that carries real weight on the path to construction.

The Xe-100 is a high-temperature, gas-cooled reactor using helium as coolant. Each unit delivers 80 MWe, while a full plant comprises four units, for a total of 320 MWe. It also produces steam at 565 degrees Celsius for industrial uses and can ramp its output down by up to 40% within minutes, following grid demand. The fuel is TRISO-X, produced by X-energy itself.

In the first half of the year, the company showed revenue growth tied to project work. According to the 10-Q filed with the SEC, revenue from services and government contributions rose by $33.1 million, or 154%, in the second quarter compared with the same period in 2025. The increase was driven mainly by the ARDP agreement with the US Department of Energy, which funds the development of the reactor and the fuel facility.

The commercial picture has broadened over the course of the year. The April IPO brought in roughly $1.1 billion in net proceeds, according to the company’s filings. Collaborations followed with LG&E and KU, PPL subsidiaries, to evaluate the Xe-100 in Kentucky, and with Talen Energy in Pennsylvania and the PJM region. Added to these is the agreement with American Electric Power and Amazon for a feasibility study on a 960 MW plant in Indiana. X-energy has also applied to enter the UK’s Generic Design Assessment (GDA) process.

On November 12, the market will be watching three things: progress on the ARDP, the TRISO-X timeline, and the first effects of the conclusion of the NRC review. With the safety review closed, the Xe-100 file moves from the technical evaluation phase to the construction authorizations required by individual customers. That step will show how quickly the agreements with utilities can turn into orders.
