Terra Innovatum Global (NASDAQ: NKLR) has released its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, ended June 30, and announced a dedicated webinar to provide operational updates on the SOLO™ reactor. The Nasdaq-listed company develops modular micro-reactors targeting industrial, remote, and high-energy-demand markets.
The SOLO™ is designed to deliver approximately 1 MWe of electrical power and up to 4–5 MWt of thermal energy, operating in off-grid mode without requiring extended emergency planning zones. The stated goal is commercial deployment by 2028. The technology is based on a heterogeneous solid composite moderator with gas cooling and LEU fuel — a configuration that enables deployment across a wide range of contexts, including data centers, mines, remote healthcare facilities, military bases, and desalination plants.
On the supply chain front, as early as February 2026 Terra Innovatum had completed alignment with suppliers for all critical reactor components, both nuclear-grade and non-nuclear but essential for plant integration. All selected suppliers are qualified to meet the most stringent nuclear and industrial sector requirements. This milestone reduced risk across the production chain and laid the groundwork for construction to begin once regulatory approvals are secured.
On the regulatory side, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has been engaged in pre-application activities with Terra Innovatum since early 2025. By February 2026, the company had completed the Phenomena Identification and Ranking Table (PIRT), a key technical step in preparation for the formal NRC submission. The licensing pathway is therefore active and structured, with defined milestones along the roadmap toward construction and operating authorization.
In June 2026, Terra Innovatum launched an initiative to increase the electrical output of the SOLO™ per reactor unit while reducing the number of units required for multi-megawatt installations. At the core of this effort is the integration of supercritical CO₂ (sCO₂) conversion technology, developed in collaboration with Baker Hughes through a recently signed Memorandum of Understanding. Preliminary engineering assessments indicate significant cycle efficiency improvements, a reduced land footprint, and simplified auxiliary system requirements.
Terra Innovatum has also been drawing growing attention from investors in the next-generation nuclear space. Investview, Inc. disclosed in its own Q2 2026 results a $5 million equity investment in an early-stage company focused on next-generation nuclear energy development and related infrastructure, with a material impact on the group’s financial structure. The financial world, in short, is watching this segment with increasing interest.
If the current trajectory holds, SOLO™ could become the first commercially operational modular micro-reactor in the world. The combination of a secured supply chain, an active NRC licensing process, and an improving power conversion architecture provides a solid foundation for the 2028 target.
