Do radiation accumulate in the body forever?

False.

External radiation does not 'remain' in the body: it deposits energy during exposure. Some radionuclides can be incorporated through breathing or eating, but they then physically decay and can be biologically eliminated over different timescales depending on the isotope and organ involved. Health assessment uses dose, type of radiation, route of exposure, and residence time; not the generic idea of permanent accumulation.
